Why we ask 50 questions.

Job titles and shared industries are limited predictors of whether two people will actually click. Combining those with values, growth posture, and communication style provides a more holistic predictor.

THE FOUR SECTIONS

Section 1 · 14 questions

Core Values & Motivations

Two people can want the same job and hate every minute of working together. Values predict whether a relationship feels generative or draining.

Section 2 · 15 questions

Career Goals & Ambitions

Career ambitions land differently depending on where you are and where you're aiming. We want to pair you with people whose trajectory either rhymes with yours or fills a specific gap.

Section 3 · 11 questions

Mentorship & Growth Mindset

Even strong values + goal compatibility fall apart if one person is hungry for feedback and the other isn't ready to use it. This section calibrates how candid your matches can be.

Section 4 · 10 questions

Working Style & Communication

Two people with identical goals can still misfire on tempo, directness, or follow-through. This section pairs you with someone whose default rhythm matches yours or contrasts in a way you're asking for.

Frequently asked questions

Every question uses a 1–5 scale, but each question measures different things. Some gauge how important something is to you, some ask you to weigh one preference against another, some track how often you do something, and a few just ask for a number. That mix gives the algorithm a fuller picture than a single style of question could.

Yes, you can retake the survey once every 90 days. People change, and your matches should reflect who you are now. When you retake it, your existing matches aren't deleted; new ones are generated alongside them.

Nobody. The matching algorithm reads your response patterns to generate compatibility scores, but individual answers stay private. Your matches see a compatibility summary, not your survey data.
